Congress and Samajwadi Party MPs have demanded that the trust be handed over to saints and seers, questioning the presence of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) members in its management. They cite statements from an accused, Mahpal Singh, who allegedly confessed that funds were diverted for VHP programs and construction of houses at Karsevakpuram.
