BJD Leader Must Step Down To Improve Law And Order

Odisha Bjd politics in an unusual turn. The ruling Biju Janata Dal in Odisha seems to have developed a hatred for bureaucracy. Top party leader and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has ousted several high-ranking leaders like former MP Baijayant Panda, former ministers Debashish Naik and Dr Damodar Raut, Gopalpur MLA Dr Pradeep Panigrahi and Kharapada MLA Soumyaranjan Patnaik. All have been expelled from the party, for daring to raise their voices against the anti-establishment process. It seems that Chief Minister Naveen is not happy with the position of the party MPs and MLAs in their respective areas, rather Naveen prefers to trust his secretary VK Pandian. Despite this, Pandian’s popularity among party supporters continues to surge.

Amid the recent political unrest in Odisha, the Chief Minister’s unwavering faith in Secretary VK Pandian has attracted the attention of many. Naveen Patnaik has instructed Pandian to visit every district and solve the problems of the citizens. However, the silence of the party MLAs on this decision has left the people of the state in doubt. The question arises why does the Chief Minister trust his secretary except the leaders expelled from the party? Even the extraordinary arrangement for a helicopter flight for Pandian was acknowledged and appreciated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. As a result, the Chief Minister has unwavering support for Pandian.

The landscape of the state has transformed, bringing dismay to naysayers of urban progress. Critics are overwhelmed by urban progress. Old government offices have given way to new, modern buildings, paving the way for the development of the urban environment. The ‘Mo School’ initiative under the BJD regime has revamped old schools to meet contemporary standards. The state administration is continuously showing enthusiasm and fervor for bolstering urban growth.

The ever-incompetent MLAs and MPs of Odisha have recently been under fire from the state’s 5-t Secretary, VK Pandian, who has taken credit for the progress made in the state. Pandian’s statement has left the representatives of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik feeling helpless, as they have been covering up for the CM’s incompetence for the sake of their political future. As a result, the party’s panchayat-level leaders have lost faith in the party and are wandering around the countryside like crazy.

Biju Janata Dal leaders cower in fear, too scared to challenge their top leader. The leader’s cowardice and lack of accountability must end. It’s time to face the music and step down gracefully. The Constitution of India may allow for succession, and if this leader cannot handle the heat, they should get out of the kitchen! The state’s law and order situation is no longer flattering the leader, and it’s time to make headlines with a new, bold approach.

Khandpada MLA Saumya Ranjan Patnaik has posed an intriguing question: ‘The leader is bigger or the secretary is bigger?’ This quandary has stirred up a frenzy among party members, leaving them pondering who elevated the secretary to a position of power in politics. However, this has also exposed the helplessness of BJD leaders as they grapple with the current situation.

It is time for the educated youths of Odisha to step up and engage in state politics for progress and development instead of protesting against Secretary VK Pandian. The youth of the state must welcome the challenges of the times and have no option but to strive towards a brighter future.
